WELLBEING

Our wellbeing is incredibly important and in current times we seem to have become more aware and conscious of that fact than we have been historically. However, there are still many issues facing us today that seriously impact our sense of wellbeing.
Finding a job can be a stressful time for anyone. What is often more stressful, in particular for young adults, is establishing what career path to take in the first instance.
Once that is established, there is the application process, designing a CV, writing a cover letter, preparing for interviews, and the interviews themselves. Most people dislike interviews, and that rarely changes in later life.
It is important therefore that we do not become overwhelmed by any of the stresses and anxieties that are often found during the career and job seeking journey.
At AccPro, we know your wellbeing is of paramount importance. Being in a good, comfortable place will help with decision making, processing applications, and sitting interviews. In addition, once a job is landed, remaining in that comfortable and confident place will have great benefits in getting off to a good start.
A hugely helpful element is a support network. Being able to reach out to people for general advice, guidance, or even just an ear to lend often brings major benefits to our wellbeing.
We have an extended network at AccPro which includes trained mentors, established and experienced legal industry members, and organisations committed to wellbeing who are willing to speak to and assist young adults. In addition to our existing network, what we at AccPro would like to achieve is to create a more local community and support network between candidates themselves. Being able to trade experiences and stories, or even simply be an arm on the shoulder, can have positive impacts. Knowing that people are around us when we need them generates a sense of comfort and confidence in tackling the road ahead.
We have created our social networking area called 'AccNet' where members can reach out to one another to provide words of wisdom and confidence, confide in each other, trade thoughts and knowledge, or even simply just to congratulate each other. AccNet is open to all members and can be found here -
